Dushanbe, 17.03.2016 (NIAT «Khovar»). On Wednesday afternoon, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon received Mohammed Haji Al Khouri, Director-General of the Khalifa bin Zayed Humanitarian Foundation in Abu Dhabi.

A wide range of issues of cooperation of Government of Tajikistan with UAE various institutions have been considered.

“I would like to thank you for a friendly and constructive meeting, I believe that we will continue our good and beneficial conversation in Tajikistan with the implementation of various projects», — said President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.

Head of state Emomali Rahmon expressed gratitude to the leadership of the Khalifa bin Zayed humanitarian Foundation for providing selfless assistance in eliminating the consequences of natural disasters in Badakhshan Region of Tajikistan.

The sides expressed interest in using the opportunities of mutually beneficial cooperation, friendly and humanitarian assistance of the Emirates in the economy of our country, the use of great natural, scientific, technical and human resources of Tajikistan, implementation of strategic economic programs by attracting investment from this friendly country.

During the meeting, the effectiveness of other funding opportunities for projects on construction of hydroelectric power stations of different capacity, development of programs of nonferrous metallurgy, light and food industry, construction, agriculture, communications, banking, tourism, education and health was stressed.
