Tajik FM attends 14th Asia Cooperation Dialogue Ministerial Meeting
Foreign Minister of Tajikistan Sirodjiddin Aslov took part in the 14th Asia Cooperation Dialogue Ministerial Meeting in the Thai capital on Thursday.
According to the Tajik MFA Information Department, Foreign Minister Aslov delivered a speech on the issues of the ways of strengthening cooperation and developing regional infrastructure and drawn attention of participants of the meeting to the necessity of developing cooperation in ensuring access to water and energy, as well as extending mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of culture and education.
On the sidelines of the Bangkok meeting, Minister of foreign Affairs Sirodjidin Aslov held a bilateral meeting with the Foreign Minister of Thailand Mr. Don Pramudwinai, where the parties have discussed the ways of strengthening bilateral relations, expressed their readiness to extend mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields and exchanged views on issues related to bilateral cooperation within the framework of United Nations Organization and Asia Cooperation Dialogue.
On March 10 in Bangkok, Aslov met here with the Deputy Foreign Minister of Kuwait Ali Sulaimoni.
The parties went through the various aspects of bilateral relations between Tajikistan and Kuwait, as well as touched upon the organizational issues of holding the next meeting of Tajikistan and Kuwait Intergovernmental Committee on economic, trade, scientific and technical cooperation.
Within the ACD Ministerial Meeting the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirodjidin Aslow have also had a conversation with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of United Arab Emirates Ahmad Jarman.
The parties have discussed the ways of promotion of bilateral trade and economic cooperation and touched upon the issues of humanitarian aid.
