Death toll of Turkey blast rises to 7
Dushanbe, 01.04.2016. (NIAT «Khovar»). Seven police officers were killed Thursday afternoon in a bomb attack in the southeastern Turkish province of Diyarbakir, Anadolu Agency reports quoting the Turkish minister of development.
According to a source, 13 police officers, including one in critical condition, and 14 civilians, including one also in critical condition were injured when a bomb exploded while a police service vehicle was passing in Diyarbakir province’s Baglar district.
The Diyarbakir prosecutor office, in charge of investigating the attack, said it suspected a parked car bomb was detonated when the special operation police forces’ vehicle was passing.
Numerous cars near the explosion site, the Intercity bus terminal and other buildings were damaged as well.
