Dushanbe, 13.04.2016. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The XVI meeting of the Consultative council on improvement of investment climate under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan was held on April 12 under the leadership of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Kohir Rasulzoda.

During the consideration of the first issue of the meeting regarding the implementation of resolutions of the XV meeting of the Consultative council, the Chairman of the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan Kodir Kosim has stressed that within the framework of the implementation of decisions of the XV meeting of the Council with the direct participation of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, H.E. Mr. Emomali Rahmon were held “Day of entrepreneur” and the International entrepreneurs forum Dushanbe — 2015, as well as implemented a number of other important measures to improve the business and investment in priority areas.

The heads of the ministries of agriculture, economic development and trade, as well as representatives of the private sector and development partners have made reports regarding other issues of the agenda of the Council meeting, including the presentation and analysis of Plan of activities on improvement of investment in the agricultural sector, the agribusiness, the results of the preliminary analysis of the problems of the taxation system and ways of their solution.

The issue of improving the investment and business climate in the transport sector has been submitted for consideration of the next meeting of the Council, which was supported by the members of the Consultative council on improvement of investment climate under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.

At the end of the 16th meeting of the Consultative council on improvement of investment climate under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Prime Minister Kohir Rasulzoda gave instructions to the members of Council, heads of ministries and departments, representatives of the private sector and other responsible persons to timely implement the plans and activities, decisions and recommendations of the next meeting of the Council.
