President Emomali Rahmon sent a letter of condolences to the US President Barack Obama
Dushanbe, 14.06.2016 / NIAT «Khovar» /. President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon expressed his condolences to President of the United States of America Barack Hussein Obama following a shooting in Orlando, Florida, which has left about 50 people dead and dozens injured.
The President’s message reads as follows:
“Your Excellency,
It was with deep shock and sadness that I learned about a terrorist attack in the city of Orlando, United States of America, which claimed dozens of innocent lives and caused numerous casualties.
A terrible wave of terrorism, in principle, has neither religion nor homeland and nation, is covering today various countries of the world, once again underlines the need to continue collective ruthless struggle against this global threat.
I wish to extend our sincerest condolences to the friendly people of America, particularly the families of those who have lost their lives, during this difficult time and we wish all the injured speedy recovery.»
