Tajikistan, WTO discussed issues of tourism development
Dushanbe, 10.06.2016 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Kohir Rasulzoda has met with the Secretary General of the World Tourism Organization /WTO/ Taleb Rifai on June 9 here in Dushanbe.
During the meeting the issue of bilateral relation between Tajikistan and WTO in tourism sector has been discussed.
WTO Secretary General Taleb Rifai has expressed satisfaction with steady development of various spheres of Tajikistan, especially tourism sector.
It was emphasized that in recent years by the top leadership of State and Government of the Republic of Tajikistan implemented a number of effective measures to improve tourism sector in the country.
It should be noted that 2017 declared as the International Year of Tourism.
