President Emomali Rahmon expresses deep sorrow and condolences for the attack on Nice
Dushanbe, 15.07.2016 / NIAT «Khovar» /. Today, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan H.E. Mr. Emomali Rahmon sent a message of condolences to the President of the French Republic François Gérard Georges Hollande, which reads as follows:
“Your Excellency,
It was with deep shock and sadness that I learned about a terrorist attack on a festive mass procession of civilians, which took place in the city of Nice of the French Republic, which killed and injured dozens of innocent people and tourists.
This disgusting inhuman act is another example of nefarious behavior of diabolical forces, ruthless struggle against which is considered the duty of every conscious person. Therefore, Tajikistan, as always, is ready to work with the international community, including with your friendly country, to doubly strengthen resolute struggle against all manifestations of terrorism and extremism.
Expressing sympathy and condolences to the friendly people of France, I ask You, Mr. President, to convey our deepest condolences to the victims and wish a speedy recovery to the injured.»
