Dushanbe, 31.08.2016. /NIAT «Khovar»/. This morning, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon arrived for a working visit to Danghara district of Khatlon Province.

The President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon was met by grateful residents of Danghara district with special hospitality and warmth for his outstanding merits in the interest of state and nation.

In the framework of his working visit to Danhgara district, Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon attended and commissioned the first stage of textile complex of «Juntai Dangara Sin Silu Textiles» OJSC.

The construction of the plant, which can process 52 thousand tons of cotton fiber and produce 150 million meters of textiles made of cotton per year, was launched by Emomali Rahmon in December 2014.

Permanent jobs will be provided to more than 6 thousand citizens of the country at the enterprise.

The enterprise was built by Chinese investments, and is equipped with equipment from USA, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, and China. More than 600 million somoni was invested in the construction of the enterprise.

On the eve of 25th anniversary of State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, a large sports complex has  also been commissioned in the administrative center of Danghara district with the participation of the President of the country Emomali Rahmon .

Construction work here began in 2012. A four-storied sports complex building was constructed in 14.253 ha area, for which 100 million somoni was spent. It is provided with necessary services, including training facilities for wrestlers, karate, judo, and gymnastics, as well as Multi-Purpose Sports Hall for 2,148 seats, a medical center, small hall, and other entertainment facilities.

Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon highly appreciated the work of the builders, and thanked them for the construction of this sports complex.

After the inauguration of the sports complex, President Emomali Rahmon attended a ceremony to lay foundation stone for the construction of a modern hotel «Daryo-2015», in Danghara district.

The President was informed that the 11-storied hotel occupies a total area of 0,3 ha.

This complex will have 304 spacious guest rooms, 3 conference rooms with 250 seats, 6 restaurants, a beauty salon, sauna, restaurant, and a cafe will be located on the roof.

The Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon also attended a ceremony of laying a cornerstone for a new building of the State Medical University of Khatlon and multipurpose hospital in the administrative center of Danghara district.

It is noted that the structures of the State Medical University will be built on an area of 23 hectares at the expense of financing of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.

According to the developed project, it is planned to build 15 buildings and other ancillary facilities, in particular the main building, four academic buildings, two blocks of hostels for students and one for teachers, three classrooms for lectures, dining room, gym and sports ground, swimming pool, a modern clinic, and etc.

President Emomali Rahmon was informed that the construction of a nine-storied main building of the future medical institute will be completed within two years.

It is expected that 4,5 thousand students will be educated within six years at the first stage at the Medical University of Khatlon.

The construction of a Medical College of Danghara district and a hospital for treatment of infectious diseases has also been launched near the construction site of the Medical University.
