Dushanbe, 26.08.2016. /NIAT «Khovar»/. The Founder of Peace and National Unity — the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon in the framework of his working visit to Jaloliddini Balkhi district put into operation the second phase of an enterprise for the production of soft drinks —  «Somon» Company, in rural community of Navobod.

This workshop for processing of fruits and vegetables was built by local entrepreneur Chillakhon Tohirov in the amount of 2 million 100 thousand somoni.

President of the country was informed that now its production capacity increased, and it can annually produce up to 300 tons of finished products. Currently, the company has launched production of 5 sorts of natural juices of apricot, peach, apple, cherry, and pomegranate under the brand name of «Somon». District farms provide under contract the enterprise with raw materials. Due to the start of operation of the business 30 local residents have been employed.

The Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon in rural community of Navobod, Jaloliddini Balkhi district, cutting the ribbon, put into operation a new modern school building — secondary school №33, for 640 pupils.

During construction of the school about 179 local residents were provided with temporary jobs and good wages.

The school has 27 spacious classrooms, subject cabinets, including chemistry, physics, biology and computer classes with 25 computers and 12 printers. The three-storey school building has been built in accordance with modern planning; it has a dining room with 150 seats, a sports hall accommodating 200 seats, a sports field with 810 seats for football, volleyball, basketball, reading room with 190 seats, a conference hall for 370 persons and classes for learning various professions, including cooking and sewing skills.

In the rural community of Navobod of Jaloliddini Balkhi district, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon gave a start for harvesting of cotton in the farm named after Niyozmuhammad Bekov.

The farm is considered to be the largest and diversified farming economy in Jaloliddini Balkhi district, whose workers are engaged in cotton, rice, seed, vegetable growing, including cultivating of beet, cabbage, pepper, and maize. The area of the farm amounts to 1 thousand 574 hectares. The best sort of crop — «Khatlon 2014», is grown in an area of ​​1 thousand 21 hectares. The farm employs 2,010 shareholders.
