Dushanbe, 22.08.2016. /NIAT «Khovar»/. A regular meeting of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan was held today under the chairmanship of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Head of the Government of the country, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon.

Members of the Government, in particular, approved and submitted to Majlisi namoyandagon Majlisi Oli (Lower Chamber of Parliament) of the Republic of Tajikistan a number of draft laws — “On amendments to the Tax Code of the Republic of Tajikistan”, «On amendments to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On joint stock companies», «On amendments to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On securities market», “On amendments to the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan”, «On amendments to the Code of administrative offences of the Republic of Tajikistan», «On amendments to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On National Security Bodies of the Republic of Tajikistan», “On amendments to the Code of execution of criminal punishment of the Republic of Tajikistan” and the Law «On amendments to the Land Code of the Republic of Tajikistan».

For consideration of Majlisi namoyandagon were also presented a draft Investment Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Limited Liability Company «Henan Zhongya Group Co. Ltd» of the People’s Republic of China on modernization and commissioning of enterprises for production of ammonia and urea in the town of Sarband of Khatlon Region on the basis of «Azot» Open Joint-Stock Company.

Then, a draft decision of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on the proposals of Majlis deputies of Vahdat town «On renaming some of the settlements,» «On the forecast of macroeconomic indicators of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2017-2019», «On model charter of sports training institutions of Tajikistan and norms in the field of sports monetary allowances», «On the Plan of Action to implement the concept of social services development in the Republic of Tajikistan», «On the order of payment of pension to pensioners under full state support in state residential institutions of social care», «On rules of obligatory medical examination of persons entering into marriage», «On the establishment of State Acceptance Commission on commissioning of Shohon-Zighar section (phase 3) of Kulob-Kalaikhumb road» and introduction of amendments and additions to a number of other draft laws.

The Founder of Peace and National Unity – the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Head of the Government of the country, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon gave concrete instructions and guidance to Member of the Government of Tajikistan, the heads of all agencies and departments under the government, other state enterprises and institutions regarding the mandatory and timely decisions considered at the Govenment meeting issues, other important and pressing problems of society, including thorough preparation to worthily celebrate the 25th anniversary of the State independence of the Republic and improving socio-economic indicators of the country, the performance indicators of the transport sector, industry, agriculture, agricultural fairs throughout the country, development of crafts, exhibitions of handmade carpets, wide propaganda of the national costumes of satin and adras, selling them, preparing of all educational institutions to the knowledge Day, lighting of avenues, main streets, parks and squares of cities and regions, as well as raise the cultural level of citizens.
