The Leader of the Nation congratulated Temur Zulfiqorov on his birthday
Dushanbe, 17.08.2016 / NIAT «Khovar» /. The Founder of Peace and National Unity — the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon had a telephone conversation with the known Tajik writer, poet, and playwright Temur Zulfiqorov.
During the telephone conversation, the Head of State Emomali Rahmon has congratulated the Tajik poet and playwright on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of his birthday, and thanked him for his outstanding achievements in the development of modern Tajik prose, poetry and drama.
Temur Zulfiqorov, born on August 17, 1936, in Dushanbe, is an author of several poems, prose and dramatic works. Works by Temur Zulfiqorov have repeatedly been presented on the stages of theaters in many countries and translated into 12 languages. He is the author of scripts for more than 20 feature and documentary films, which have been awarded with prizes at national and international film festivals.
