Cultural Exchanges: Strengthening Ties between Tajikistan and Japan
On September 14, 2016 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan in Japan Hamrokhon Zarifi held a meeting with Hiroyasu Kobayashi, the President of the Min-On Concert Association.
According to the Tajik MFA Information Department, the sides thoroughly exchanged views on enhancing cultural exchange through conducting joint cultural events with the participation of the two countries’ artists.
It should be noted, that at the invitation of the Min-On Concert Association legendary Tajik dance ensemble «Zebo» in past visited Tokyo. In this regard, the sides expressed their interest in the continuation and intensification of this existing tradition.
Interlocutors agreed that the organizing such cultural visits, promotes mutual understanding and contributes to the strengthening of bilateral cooperation. They also outlined ways holding such events in the future.
