Telephone conversation with President-elect of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev
Dushanbe, 05.12.2016. /NIAT “Khovar”/. Today, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon held a telephone conversation with newly elected President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The head of our state sincerely congratulated Shavkat Mirziyoyev on his victory in Uzbekistan’s presidential elections and wished him further success in his important state office for the prosperity of friendly Uzbekistan.
During the conversation the parties exchanged views on a number of issues of the Tajik-Uzbek relations of mutual interest, and discussed the prospects of their development in the spirit of creative traditions of the centuries-old historical heritage of good-neighborly relations between the two nations.
The conversation took place in an atmosphere of sincerity, friendship and mutual understanding.
