Karimzoda: “The document for reducing customs duties on import of new cars to be passed soon”
DUSHANBE, 18.01.2017 /NIAT «Khovar»/. The document for reducing customs duties on import of new cars into the country will be passed in the coming days. It was reported by the First Deputy Head of Customs Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Khurshed Karimzoda at the press conference that was held on Tuesday January 17.
“Currently the draft of document is developed and submitted for consideration to the relevant ministries and agencies”, — he said.
According to him, in connection with the reduction of duties on new cars, perhaps the budget of the country will not receive 154 million TJS. “But we will try to cover this reduction of income in the budget by increasing the number of vehicles”, — he added.
We will recall that the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon in his annual Address to the Parliament of the country said that in 2017 the customs duties on import of new cars to Tajikistan will decrease by 50%.
New cars are considered that cars since the release of which was not passed more than three years.
