Tajikistan and the United Kingdom discussed the development of cooperation in the spheres of industry, energy and tourism
DUSHANBE, 10.02.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The issues of development of bilateral cooperation in the field of agriculture, industry, hydropower, tourism, implementation of new projects, support for the private sector and definition of new areas of investment were discussed by the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan Nematullo Hikmatullozoda and the Head of the Department for International Development of Great Britain in Central Asia Peter Fernandes Cardy. NIAT “Khovar” has been reported by the press center of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the country.
According to the ministry’s message, the meeting was held in businesslike and constructive atmosphere.
“The two parties have discussed the goals and priorities of the National Development Strategy of the Republic of Tajikistan for the period up to 2030”, — says the message.
The parties have expressed confidence that cooperation between the U.K. Department for International Development and Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan will continue to develop fruitfully.
