Tajikistan warm welcome for Russian President Putin
DUSHANBE, 27.02.2017. /NIAT «Khovar»/. Today, the Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived on an official visit to the Republic of Tajikistan.
Upon arrival at the Dushanbe International Airport, the Leader of friendly and brotherly country of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin was welcomed by the Prime Minister of Tajikistan Qohir Rasulzoda and other officials.
The Dushanbe International Airport has been tastefully decorated with colourful banners inscribed with welcoming slogans reflecting the strong friendship and commonality of Tajikistan and Russia as well as the guard of honor lined up on both sides of the red carpet in honor of the visiting head of Russian state.
It should be noted that the official visit of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin to the Republic of Tajikistan takes place on the occasion of the 25th anniversary since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
The official welcoming ceremony of the high level guest will take place today in the Palace of the Nation. In the margins of this visit negotiations with restricted attendance between the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin are expected.
The top level talks in an expanded format and the signing of a package of new documents on bilateral cooperation and other relevant intergovernmental events are expected as well.
