First Deputy Chairman of NBT, ESCAP Representative discussed current state of the country’s economy
DUSHANBE, 17.03.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The current state of the country’s economy was discussed on March 16 by Jamoliddin Nuraliev, First Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan and Hongju Ham, Deputy Executive Secretary of the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and Pacific /ESCAP/.
According to the press centre of the NBT, during the meeting Hongju Ham has invited the leadership of NBT to attend the Asian Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development to be held this year.
The parties had an exchange of views on country’s banking system and development of cooperation in the banking system. Hongju Ham having also spoke about the experience of Mongolia’s banking system, which is like with the banking system of the Republic of Tajikistan, officially invited the NBT for cooperation in this field, including for participation in the workshops on exchange of views and gaining of Mongolia’s experience.
It should be noted that the aim of the visit of Hongju Ham is to discuss the issues of countries of Asia and Pacific region in the regional economic integration process and implementation of the Agenda for 2030 on Sustainable Development.
