Tourism Potential of Tajikistan presented in Japan
DUSHANBE, 06.03.2017. /NIAT «Khovar»/. On February 28, business-seminar on «Tourism Potential of Tajikistan» was held at the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Japan.
According to the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Japan, the event was attended by representatives of the Japan Association of Travel Agents, private tourist companies, tour operators, specialized professionals and travel agents.
In his opening speech, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan in Japan Dr. Hamrokhon Zarifi told in detail about dynamically developing tourism sector in the country and noted that in Tajikistan good conditions for foreign guests have been created in recent years.
The Ambassador stressed that the tourism potential of Tajikistan is huge and unique, as the country has historically been one of the centers of civilization of the Great Silk Road, possesses enormous cultural and historical heritage, originality, diversity of natural landscapes, flora and fauna.
Warm hospitality of Tajik people, stability and safety in all territory of Tajikistan was particularly noted.
During the presentation, the initiative of the government of Tajikistan of launching electronic visa issuance system was mentioned.
Promotion videos of Tajikistan were shown for the attendees of the seminar, where the beautiful nature, attractions and the unique natural features, historic and modern attractions of the country were exemplified.
Representatives of the Japanese tourist business expressed their vision for the further development of cooperation between the two countries in the field of tourism.
