UK Senior Expert on Private Sector visited the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan
DUSHANBE, 07.04.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The priority areas of “National Development Strategy for the period up to 2030” and “Medium-term Development Program of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2016-2020” were discussed at the meeting of Saidrahmon Nazrizoda, First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan and David Elliott, Senior Expert on Private Sector UK Department for International Development.
According to the press centre of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the country, the parties have also discussed the main directions of mutually beneficial economic cooperation between the two countries, especially the expansion of cooperation in the private sector, the growth of trade turnover between Tajikistan and the United Kingdom, the development of the food and light industry.
It is also reported that following the meeting the parties have expressed their readiness to further expand bilateral economic and trade cooperation between Tajikistan and the United Kingdom.
