Financial situation of the two system-forming banks — OJSC “Agroinvestbank” and OJSC “Tojiksodirotbank” discussed in Dushanbe
DUSHANBE, 31.05.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The current state of banking system of the country was discussed on May 30 at the meeting of Jamoliddin Nuraliev, First Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Tajikistan with Ms. Ayten Rustamova, Head of EBRD Office in the Republic of Tajikistan and delegation of International Consulting Company “Alvarez&Marsal” led by Nikolay Kuznetsov. NIAT “Khovar” has been reported by the press centre of the National Bank of Tajikistan.
According to the source, the meeting was held within the framework of EBRD technical assistance and Cooperation agreement with International Consulting Company “Alvarez&Marsal” for development of rehabilitation plan of two system-forming banks — OJSC “Agroinvestbank” and OJSC “Tojiksodirotbank”.
During the meeting the parties had an exchange of views on the issues of credit portfolio quality, assets and liabilities, net of branches, condition of software and data support.
Jamoliddin Nuraliev, First Deputy Chairman has informed that the National Bank of Tajikistan is ready for cooperation with International Company “Alvarez&Marsal” for the development of rehabilitation plan of given banks. Particularly, specifying employees’ expertise of the company, J. Nuraliev has expressed confidence that the new and relevant model for rehabilitation of the given banks will be developed and offered by “Alvarez&Marsal” Company.
In turn, Nikolay Kuznetsov, Director of International Consulting Company “Alvarez&Marsal” has expressed gratitude to the NBT representatives for the cooperation.
It is worth to note that Ms. Marina Ermakova, EBRD representative, experts of International Consulting Company “Alvarez&Marsal” and Principles of Structural Subdivisions of National Bank of Tajikistan have also taken part in this meeting.
