The Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon chaired a regular meeting of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan today.

The personnel matter was first considered in the session.

The chairman of the Panj district of Khatlon Province presented his report to the President on the process of implementation of the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On local body of state authority” and the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On self-governing bodies of towns and villages».

On the General plan of Ismoili Somoni’s Township at the Bokhtar district of Khatlon Province and On the General plan of Dusti Township at the Jayhun district of Khatlon Province were heard the reports of the chairmen of these districts.

The President outlined the priority tasks for the leadership of the local executive body of state authority of Panj, Bokhtar and Jayhun districts addressing effective land use, undertaking development fieldwork, preserve, and store food safely, creating Works Progress and beautification.

The members of the Government approved and submitted for consideration to Majlisi Namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan the drafts of a number of laws concerning, in particular, the Draft Constitutional Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On making amendments to the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan», On the Draft of Constitutional Law «On making addenda to the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On the Legal Status of a Member of Majlisi Milli and Deputy of Majlisi Namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan”, On the Draft Law “On making addenda to the Law of the Republic  of Tajikistan «On State Budget of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2017” as well as On the Draft Law «On making amendments to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Advertising”.

The conclusion of Government of Republic of Tajikistan on the draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On making amendments to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan «On Police” and the draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On making amendments to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Operational Investigative Activities” were also submitted for consideration of the Majlisi Namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The members of the Government were also considered the draft resolutions of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan addressing establishment of the State Scientific Institution – the Center for research and innovative technologies under the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan”, “On the distribution and provision of young people with jobs «,» On the Committee for Youth and Sports Affairs under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan «,» On the Committee for Tourism Development under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan «,»On the Comprehensive Program for the Development of Physical Culture and Sports in the Republic of Tajikistan designed for 2017-2021» and «On the approval of the State Program for the Development of Football in the Republic of Tajikistan designed for 2017-2021 «.
