DUSHANBE, 05.06.2017 /NIAT «Khovar»/. The Lower House of Parliament of Tajikistan will introduce amendments and additions to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On police”. This issue was discussed at the session of the Council of the Lower House of Parliament, which was held today, June 5 under the chairmanship of Shukurjon Zuhurov, Chairman of Majlisi namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan. NIAT “Khovar” has been reported by the press centre of the Lower House of Parliament of the country.

The Council members have also discussed the draft laws of the Republic of Tajikistan “On the assessment of the impact on the environment”, “On the introduction of amendments and additions to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On the operational-search activities”.

At the session of the Council the technical assistance grant agreement between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Islamic Development Bank for  increasing the capacity of the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources, as well as other issues have been also considered.

The discussed issues are aimed to enhance the rule of law, development of the energy potential of the country, environmental protection and the improvement of social conditions of the population.
