Over 26 thousand Tajik citizens were provided with jobs
DUSHANBE, 20.07.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Ministry of Labor, Migration and Employment of the Republic of Tajikistan has done a certain work within the State Program to Promote Employment of Population. In particular, in the first half of 2017, 69 thousand 278 citizens applied to labor and employment agencies, of which 45 thousand 580 were registered as job seekers, 28 thousand 680 citizens officially received the status of unemployed. In total, for this period 26 thousand 615 citizens were provided with jobs. It was stated today at the press conference by the Minister of Labor, Migration and Employment of Population of the Republic of Tajikistan Sumangul Tagoyzoda.
She stressed that during this period in order to promote employment the labor authorities held 420 fairs of vacant jobs. As a result, 3,434 people were employed, 4,381 citizens received a referral for the acquisition of a profession, 1,173 people were involved in paid public works and 9,970 citizens received professional advisory services.
Through the organization and holding of fairs of free jobs, 8,988 unemployed and job-seekers were involved in various paid public works.
Thus, in the first half of this year, the labor and employment agencies provided social services to 114 thousand 137 citizens.
