Tajikistan delegation took part in the Ministerial segment of the High Level Political Forum 2017 Session (HLPF) in New York
DUSHANBE, 18.07.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. On July 17 at the UN headquarters in New York there was held the ministerial segment of the High Level Political Forum 2017 on sustainable development under the auspices of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).
The Forum is the main multilateral mechanism in the UN system for reviewing the implementation of the Agenda for Sustainable Development for the period to 2030 (Agenda 2030). The main objective of the Forum is to promote the exchange of experience and best practices in achieving sustainable development.
According to the Permanent Mission of Tajikistan to the United Nations, the delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan headed by the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan Nematullo Hikmatullozoda took part in this event.
