DUSHANBE, 17.04.2025 /NIAT “Khovar”/. On April 17, Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Kohir Rasulzoda met with Deputy First Vice President of the Islamic Republic of Iran for International Affairs and Regional Cooperation Ali Najafi Khoshroudi.
At the meeting, the sides discussed the situation and prospects of multifaceted cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran. The sides called the holding of the meeting of the Joint Commission of the States on trade-economic, technical and cultural cooperation this year .
Prime Minister Kohir Rasulzoda, recalling the development and strengthening of friendly and mutually beneficial ties between Tajikistan and Iran, emphasized that the potential of the two countries to expand cooperation in the field of tourism is also noteworthy, and significant progress has been made in this direction. In this context, the abolition of visa regime between the countries was mentioned, which contributes to the development of tourism industry.
The sides drew attention to expanding cooperation in energy, oil and gas, international transportation, agriculture and other areas, and expressed interest in developing cooperation in the fields of politics, economy, trade, health, science and culture.
