DUSHANBE, 28.08.2017. /NIAT «Khovar»/. Today, the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and the President of the Republic of India Ram Nath Kovind exchanged congratulatory telegrams on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

In particular, in the congratulatory telegram of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to the President of the Republic of India Ram Nath Kovind, it is said:

It is with pleasure that I sincerely congratulate you on the occasion of the significant date in the modern history of relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of India — the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between our countries.

It is gratifying that during this period both parties, having created a solid contract-legal basis for traditional relations of friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation in various spheres of coinciding interests, have consistently developed them by active and creative efforts.
