Issues of tourism infrastructure development discussed in “Saturn” sanatorium
DUSHANBE, 09.08.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. On August 8, a familiarization tour and a meeting of heads of tourism companies and a group of entrepreneurs was held in “Saturn” sanatorium at the initiative of the Committee on Tourism Development under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
According to the Committee on Tourism Development under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the purpose of the meeting was to gather the tourism companies, hotels and sanatoriums, to present the potential of the hotels and sanatoriums, to use existing opportunities, as well as to attract more tourists and to improve their services.
The Chairman of the Committee on Tourism Development under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Numon Abdugafforzoda said that under the wise policy of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon our country became beautiful, and the requirements of domestic and foreign citizens for visiting tourism sights of Tajikistan, including sanatoriums and treatment centers has been growing.
He noted that at the initiative of the Leader of the Nation was signed the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Domestic Tourism”, which promotes the improvement of the legal base of the tourism sector and creation of favorable conditions for the formation and development of domestic tourism.
According to him, the existing of developed infrastructure, such as network of roads, hotels, tourism centers, sanatoriums, entertainment facilities, international and domestic passenger transportation, communication and banking modern services have significant impact to the development of new tourist routes and meet the basic needs of domestic and foreign tourists.
To this end, the newly established Tourism Development Committee together with responsible persons of reception and maintenance facilities discussed the issues of the development of tourist infrastructure in the country and the ways to promote opportunities between tourism companies, hotels and sanatoriums.
“Saturn” sanatorium using good modern conditions of service can receive 100 people for recreation and medical treatment.
