Tajik-Finnish business seminar will be held in Dushanbe late October
DUSHANBE, 16.09.2017. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The economy of Tajikistan is developing at a fast pace and Finnish businessmen are interested in developing cooperation with Tajik entrepreneurs. It was stated by the Honorary Consul of Finland in Kyrgyzstan Petri Numminen at the meeting with the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan Sharif Said.
According to the press centre of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the country, the Finnish diplomat offered to hold a Tajik-Finnish business seminar in Tajikistan late October and noted that this requires information on the demanded products in the markets of Finland and Tajikistan.
Sharif Said, having briefed the Finnish diplomat on the activities of the Chamber of Commerce, noted that the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan and Finland have established inter-chamber cooperation.
During the friendly conversation the guest was also briefed on the country’s investment potential in the fields of energy, industry, agriculture, light industry, health, construction, and tourism.
Petri Numminen said that he arrived in Tajikistan to study the market and find potential business partners in priority areas on a mutually beneficial basis.
At the end of the meeting, the management of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan handed over the CD “Business Guide 2017” to the guests.
