Emomali Rahmon had a telephone conversation with Alexander Lukashenko
DUSHANBE, 05.10.2017. /NIAT «Khovar»/. The Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
Mr. Lukashenko expressed his best wishes to Mr. Emomali Rahmon on his birthday.
During the conversation Alexander Lukashenko stressed the enormous contribution of President Emomali Rahmon to the establishment of peace and national accord in Tajikistan, ensuring sustainable economic and social development and strengthening its authority in the international arena.
Relations between Tajikistan and Belarus are a clear example of friendship and constructiveness, and, in light of this, the heads of two states discussed the state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
The two presidents continued their exchange of views on separate international and regional issues of mutual interest.
