In a telephone call to President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, Dmitry Medvedev, the Prime Minister of Russian Federation, on behalf of the Government of Russia and on his own behalf, cordially congratulated Emomali Rahmon on his birthday and expressed his good wishes.
Dmitry Medvedev underlined significant personal contribution of Emomali Rahmon to the development of Tajik-Russian relations on the basis of Tajikistani – Russian traditional friendship and strategic partnership.
The President of the Republic of Tajikistan and Prime Minister of Russian Federation has reaffirmed their commitment for the further development of mutually beneficial cooperation between their countries.
The sides reaffirmed their mutual striving to further multi-faceted bilateral cooperation, expansion of interregional ties and business, people contacts meets the long-term interests of the two countries.
