DUSHANBE, 16.10.2017. /NIAT «Khovar»/. The Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan His Excellency Emomali Rahmon received the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor and Minister of State for Economic Affairs of State of Kuwait Her Excellency Hind Sabeeh Barak Al-Sabeeh.
The head of state stressed that good Tajikistani – Kuwait relationships merit special attention of the two states’ leaders and expressed his confidence that interstate cooperation will continue to develop steadily for mutual benefit.
The two sides stressed the need for taking forward the cooperation in the fields of trade and economy, investments in infrastructure projects, hydropower, mining, production of non-ferrous metals, processing of agricultural products, production of essential goods and tourism.
The two sides also discussed matters pertaining to ensuring regional security, fight against global terrorism and extremism.
