DUSHANBE, 05.10.2017 /NIAT «Khovar»/. Today, the scientific, cultural and literary conference held on at Tajik National library which was dedicated to State Language Day.

The president of Science Academy of Republic of Tajikistan, academic Farkhod Rahimi opened the conference and stressed that: “Save and development of State language at independent period is one of the right way to development of science and culture in Tajik country, because Independence gave chance to National language in order to have State status”. Abdujabor Rakhmonzoda remembered the special attention of government of Tajikistan on development of Tajik language from the first days of state Independence which had been done the huge beneficial work.  Particularly, he emphasized the great and valuable role of the President of Tajikistan in the development of the Tajik language.

Also academic mentioned that the Leader of Nation offered his very important and valuable book “The language of the nation is the nation’s existence” on the introduction of a state language for scientists and researchers which it has a great importance on providing the recognition of Tajik language history and Tajik nation. This important novel allows us to study and evaluate the most important aspects of the history and the development of Tajik language.

During the discussion the assistant to the president of Tajikistan on social development and community relations suggested some proposals to participants. So he said that the book “Tajik grammar rules” must be looked through by scientists, ones again and the issues that are disturbing, particularly in development of Tajik language inscriptions, and then presented. The spelling dictionary of Tajik literary language, which is published once in independence period, it should be republished again by the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Education and Science. Because this book as instruction is a very important for scientists, teachers, students, teens and youths. «Tajik language Dictionary» twice had been published by the Leader of Nation, but unfortunately, there are many mistakes in both publish.  And many words and concepts are not included in the dictionary. The Academy of Sciences and the Institute of Language and Literature should organize an active group of scientific from institutes in order to compile the dictionary. Academy of Sciences was instructed that it is the time to write the book of » Tajik language history».

Abdujabbor Rahmonzoda expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that «except for a few dictionaries, there are many dictionaries which have not been changed into Cyrillic yet. Fortunately, since Aini’ started working on it, many good deeds were implemented in this context, but after 90s the work has been stopped. It is time for Institute of Language and Literature to focus on this issue. The dictionary “Dehkhudo” should be changed into electronic version with Cyrillic and in simple form. Another issue that is considered to be very important and valuable is the standardization of words and terms related to each language. The Committee on Language and terminology must work together with the specialists of the Academy of Sciences to focus on one of the most important and controversial issues of the standardization of the words and to develop the meaning of every word in specialized dictionaries. Also he pointed to press language issues and asked to work in this shear for not having grammar mistakes. Than the Chairman of the Committee of language and terminology, Dr. , Gavera Sharofzoda, Director of the Institute of Language and Literature, Sohidod Rahmatullozoda, and other poetry scientists, as well as poets Askar Hakim, Davlat Rohanians, Ranoi Muboriz gave a talk on scientific research of  modern linguistic issues. At conference was noted that over the centuries, the great Tajik people have studied the Tajik language, and its hope that the researching will be continued by hundreds of other national scientists.

The meeting was held at the initiative of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Committee on Language and Terminology under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, including the lecturers, representatives of the Union of Writers, the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture.
