Tajik, U.S. Officials Discuss Crime, Terrorism Cooperation at UN Event in Vienna

DUSHANBE, 17.03.2026 (NIAT Khovar) – First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan Abdurakhmon Alamshozoda met with U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State David Bedard to discuss cooperation in combating crime, including international terrorism, and the pursuit of fugitives, the Tajik Interior Ministry said.
The meeting took place as part of United Nations anti-fraud events held in Vienna March 16–17.
Officials expressed interest in further developing mutually beneficial cooperation.
