Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon has opened Cultural and Recreation Park named after Sadriddin Ayni
DUSHANBE, 06.11.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. Following participation in the opening ceremony of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and nine apartment blocks for employees of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan His Excellency Emomali Rahmon accompanied by the Chairman of Dushanbe city Rustami Emomali officially reopened the renovated Cultural and Recreation Park named after Sadriddin Ayni.
This significant event took place during Tajikistan’s celebration of the 23rd anniversary of its Constitution and 25th anniversary of the XVI Session of the Supreme Council.
The opening ceremony was attended by the leadership of the executive bodies of state authority of Sughd Province, Dushanbe city, metropolitan areas, and representatives of the intelligentsia.
At the entrance to the park, the Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon unveiled the monument of the Founder of modern Tajik literature, Hero of Tajikistan, Sadriddin Ayni. A monument to Sadriddin Ayni was carved by Tajik sculptor Ghafourjon Jourayev.
