DUSHANBE, 16.11.2017 /NIAT “Khovar”/. At today’s scientific and theoretical conference on the topic “Emomali Rahmon – President-peacekeeper and founder of the national state of Tajiks”, the Director of the Center for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Khudoberdi Kholiqnazar said: “Nowadays, the people of Tajikistan and especially the youth should appreciate the role of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon in achieving peace and national unity in our country”. Also, he called on the young generation to appreciate peace, tranquility, and independence in our country and not allow that they were destroyed.
According to him, the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon as the official representative of the Government taking an active part, had a decisive influence in the process of inter-Tajik peace talks that were held jointly with the opposition in the most difficult years in the republic.
“During the difficult years of the reign of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon gained a great prestige and authority due to his courage, integrity, humanistic and peacekeeping activities. This was the reason for the official appearance of the Day of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, and today this date deserves great respect”, — Kh. Kholiqnazar noted.
The conference was organized by the Executive body of state authority of Dushanbe city and dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the XVI Session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan. Deputy Mayor of Dushanbe city Mavsuma Muini, representatives of the ministries and departments of the country took part in the work of the conference.
