Finance Minister of Tajikistan met with the Chairman of the EDB Management Board
DUSHANBE, 31.01.2018. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan Faiziddin Qahhorzoda met on January 29 with the Chairman of the Management Board of the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) Andrei Belianinov.
According to the press centre of the Ministry of Finance of the country, the two parties had an exchange of views on important issues, as well as discussed prospects for cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Eurasian Development Bank.
It was noted that Tajikistan is interested in further closer cooperation with the Eurasian Development Bank, which contributes to the country’s economic development, and all measures taken by the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan are aimed at increasing the welfare of the people.
The Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan F. Qahhorzoda noted that during the period of cooperation with the Eurasian Development Bank, especially in terms of implementation of reforms in the financial sectors of the Republic of Tajikistan, has been made significant progress, and expressed confidence that cooperation with EDB will continue to develop and expand on a constructive basis.
The meeting took place in a constructive atmosphere and it was also attended by the Director of EDB Representative Office in Tajikistan Kadyrov R.I.
