The message reads, in particular:

It is with deep sorrow that we received the tragic news of the killing and serious injury of numerous people as a result of a deadly terrorist attack in the city of Kabul.
Please pass my deepest condolences to the families and friends of those killed and my wishes of a speedy recovery to those injured.»
