The religious parties and its risk to national states
DUSHANBE, 19.01.2018. /NIAT «Khovar»/. The bitter experience of many states, where Islamist political parties function under various names, clearly shows that in these countries «thanks to» these movements and parties based on religious ideology, no progress has been observed. On the contrary, between its political associations violence systematically flare up in order to acquire political power, which in particular, become an obstacle to the achievement of the ultimate goal and development.
The most obvious example is the battles of politicians, who have different religious platforms that Afghan nation has suffered severe pain for 40 years.
The State of Libya, Sudan, Iraq, Syria, the Philippines, Tunisia and North African countries have been going through troubled times for many years and lost their moderate processes, stable and advanced development.
The main factor of such instability is rooted in the heat of the struggle between religious parties in the sense that some handful of fanatics wants to impose their religious ideology on the majority. But, since they do not succeed in the natural struggle by means of elections, they are on the path of illegal struggle, that is, organize coups and confusion, and thus want to come to power.
A good example of this is the experience of Tajikistan. The extremist — terrorist organization of the Islamic Renaissance Party of Tajikistan was serving its political scene in Tajikistan over 40 years. According to the leadership of this banned party, its activists in the 70s of the last century discussed the issues of coming to power and turning a secular state into a purely religious country. After the completion of internal clash, the banned Party became a parliamentary party. But in the absence of the opportunity to come to power following democratic way, they eventually revealed their true goals and intentions. The last chance of the Islamic banned Party was a coup d’état, but having conceived it, they failed. It can be said that the scenarios of some foreign countries for organizing a coup through radical destructive forces in Tajikistan did not find the ground for implementation.
Unfortunately, this lesson did not become an edification for some demagogue politicians who are still in the races of members of this recognized extremist-terrorist ranting on the topic of justice and human rights, without ever having to think about the kind of troubles that were fraught with Tajikistan and the Tajik people of their actions and betrayals.
It may seem that they are not alone in their information war with the glorious people of Tajikistan, such radical-extremist organizations, such as «Group-24», «Hizbut-Tahrir», » Wahhabism», «Salafi» and others like them are trying to blacken and mud our people. Among them, one of the important places is given to the malicious ideologist SaidunyunusIstaravshani. On behalf of the sacred religion of Islam and his sacred values, he puts forward such slogans that one can marvel. Speaks of human rights, human dignity and the interests of society have the right to speak only those who himself is an example of kindness and honor, and in whose thoughts and actions are the same. A letter from a group of Istaravshan residents addressed to the Iranian Ambassador to Tajikistan, recently published in the press, indicates that this person is not at all the one for whom he claims to be. This is one of the instigators of the new movement, whose supporters want to question the well-known truths and even «restore» justice.
It’s a concern that in some Western countries they listen to the Kabiri’s supporters and the «Group — 24″, and invite them to some dubious gatherings and present them with tribunes. Generally, human rights organizations should study the situation in that country, have real and rich information based on real facts, but, unfortunately, sometimes the opposite is observed. Representatives of these organizations listen to Kabiri and his followers who argue that in Tajikistan religion is in distress and no religious freedoms are respected.
But the reality is that everyone who considers himself a follower of Islam and his madhhabs is absolutely free and unhindered to exercise his religious freedoms. Moreover, thanks to amendments and additions to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On the regulation of traditions, celebrations and ceremonies in the Republic of Tajikistan» the Tajik nation has even more penetrated the essence of our religion. Now all the events connected with ceremonies and mourning being held according to the order of religion, it can be regarded as a huge revolution in the religious consciousness of the people.
The activist of the Islamic banned Party in every way wanted to abuse that they wanted to use religion as an instrument in their struggle for power, as their foreign patrons taught them due to the handouts of which they ruffled. The world community was at a loss when, after the IRPT was declared a terrorist and extremist organization in Tajikistan, Kabiri was accepted with honor in Iran and supported by a number of officials.
In fact, from the very beginning of the appearance of this party in the political arena, the people of Tajikistan did not welcome it, for it was known from the experience of foreign countries that where there is a politicization of religion there is no place for peace and stability. Religion should always remain pure and uncomplicated. It is similar to the sun, which generously bestows all its rays, and finally, religiousness is a personal and constant connection of a person with his God.
All the postulates of the Quran testify that religion calls for unity and unanimity. ‘’ And obey Allah and His Messenger, and do not dispute and [thus] lose courage and [then] your strength would depart; and be patient. Indeed, Allah is with the patient. As well, “And do not be like the ones who became divided and differed after the clear proofs had come to them. And those will have a great punishment”.
In short, the creation of a party from the estate of religion and its use for its political purposes is essentially an introduction to confrontation in society. The introduction of a split in order to achieve power, authority and fame is one of the brightest machinations that carry with it a threat to the foundations of the state and the nation.
