Doha hosts the presentation of the “Year of Tourism and Folk Crafts Development in Tajikistan”
DUSHANBE, 28.02.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The meeting of Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan in Qatar Khusrav Sohibzoda with the General Manager of Cultural Village Foundation “Katara” Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al-Sulaiti was held on February 26.
As NIAT “Khovar” was informed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan, the meeting discussed the issues of further strengthening of cultural ties between Tajikistan and Qatar, as well as the ways of wide mutual acquaintance with the tourism potential and heritage of masters of folk crafts.
In this context, the interlocutors confirmed their mutual interest in organizing various events in the Cultural Village “Katara” in order to present the “Year of Tourism and Folk Crafts Development in Tajikistan” and on this occasion holding an exhibition of tourism and folk arts as well as the concert of Tajik folklore groups in Doha.
