DUSHANBE, 09.02.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. In honor of the Year of Tourism and Folk Crafts Development, a gift shop “Armughon” /“Souvenir”/ was opened in the Historical and Cultural Reserve “Hulbuk”, NIAT “Khovar” reports citing the source from this reserve.
According to the source, the store was opened to attract more tourists and give a new impetus to the development of folk crafts. Now every tourist has the opportunity to take a gift as a souvenir from “Hulbuk”.

It should be noted that the Historical and Cultural Reserve “Hulbuk” has a museum in which preserves more than 5140 artifacts, found in the palace of Kings Hulbuk. According to officials of this reserve, 2761 tourists visited Hulbuk in 2017.
We will recall that the sources and archaeological finds indicate that Hulbuk was the capital of Khatlon and an ancient city. At all times of its existence, this city was the administrative, economic and cultural center of the kingdom of ancient Khutalon. In November 2009, in Xian — the cultural capital of China, Hulbuk, along with 8 unique monuments of the Tajik nation, was included in the ranks of cities of the “Great Silk Road” of UNESCO and awarded a special award.
