DUSHANBE, 23.02.2018. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Year of Tourism Development in Tajikistan will pass under the patronage of the President of the Football Federation of Tajikistan Rustami Emomali. NIAT “Khovar” has been reported by the Chairman of the Committee for Tourism Development under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Nu’mon Abdughafforzoda.

“It is gratifying that the President of the country Emomali Rahmon in his annual address to Majlisi Oli of the country announced 2018 as the Year of Tourism and Folk Crafts Development”, — he said, — In this context, according to the Action Plan of the “Year of Tourism and Folk Crafts Development”, which was approved by the Leader of the Nation, it is expected to hold a number of national and international events.

Representatives of the country’s tourism sector are pleased that the President of the Football Federation of Tajikistan patronages the “Year of Tourism and Folk Crafts Development”, which is a continuation of the attention and support of the constructive and creative policies of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.

It should be noted that the large-scale tourism events, including Solemn event in honor of the official launch of the “Year of Tourism and Folk Crafts Development” (February 3, 2018), as well as the event entitled “Sustainable Steps Toward the Development of Tourist Services” (on February 10) and within its framework the creation of the first stage of the transport services center in the tourism sphere, the launch of the project “Regions of Tajikistan” were held under the patronage of the President of the Football Federation of Tajikistan Rustami Emomali.

The Government of the Republic of Tajikistan took important measures for the formation and competitiveness of tourism products and attracting more tourists, as well as implemented a number of tax and customs privileges that yield fruitful results for the development of the country’s tourism sphere.

The Committee for Tourism Development in close cooperation with ministries, departments, local authorities and the private sector, on the basis of instructions and guidance of the Leader of the Nation, who is the founder of the tourism sector and representing modern Tajikistan in the international arena and under the patronage of the President of the Football Federation of Tajikistan Rustami Emomali, takes effective measures to implement Action Plan, dedicated to the “Year of Tourism and Folk Crafts Development”, and widely uses all created opportunities to increase the contribution of the sphere in the development of the national economy and people’s welfare.
