ONE MORE GOOD NEWS: Badakhshan province of Tajikistan included in the World’s TOP 100 Best Sustainable Destinations at the Berlin International Tourism Exhibition!
DUSHANBE, 09.03.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The awarding ceremony of “100 best global leaders for protection of national culture, traditions and attraction of people to the tourism sector in 2018” was held on March 7 within the 2018 Berlin International Tourism Exhibition. The mountainous region of Badakhshan of Tajikistan was included in this TOP 100, and it occupied first place in the Asia-Pacific region. NIAT “Khovar” has been reported by the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Federal Republic of Germany.
The award was solemnly presented to the Badakhshan Eco-Cultural Tourism Association representative Sitora Saodatqadamova. As stated the source from the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in Germany, “the recognition of the regions of our paradise country by the world organizations as the world’s best travel destinations is the pride of our nation and state. At the same time, such awards and recognition contribute to attracting more foreign tourists to our country”.
We will recall that at the 2018 Berlin International Tourism Exhibition, along with the official corner of Tajikistan, Tajik travel companies and their partners from the countries-members of the Silk Road Program have organized a joint corner and encourage regional travel routes. Taking into account the history and culture of the countries of the Central Asian region, which have much in common and ties, such a measure will contribute to attract more foreign tourists to the countries of the region, including Tajikistan.
