Event devoted to the International Navruz Holiday held in France
DUSHANBE, 16.03.2018. /NIAT “Khovar”/. On March 15, 2018 in the headquarter of UNESCO in Paris, Embassies of the countries of Navruz area (Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Iran, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Iraq, Pakistan and India) held an official cultural event dedicated to the celebration of International Navruz Holiday.
According to the MFA Information Department, this event was attended by representatives of French ministries, diplomatic corps, business groups, scientific and cultural circles, as well as Tajik diaspora living in France. The guests had the opportunity to taste the popular festive cuisine of Navruz countries and learn more about the traditions of each countries of Navruz area.
It is reported that the Embassy of Tajikistan designed a traditional national holiday table decorated with Haftsin and Haftshin, as well as presented the books about Tajikistan.
