Fayziddin Qahhorzoda and Sun Yan discussed prospects for cooperation in the financial and banking sector
DUSHANBE, 02.03.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Minister of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan Fayziddin Qahhorzoda met on March 1 with Adviser to the Chancellery for Trade and Economic Affairs of the People’s Republic of China in the Republic of Tajikistan Sun Yan.
According to the press centre of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan, during the meeting, which was held in a friendly and constructive atmosphere, the parties had an exchange of views on current issues and prospects for cooperation in the financial and banking sector. They also discussed the priorities of economic policy of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The two parties paid special attention to the issues of strengthening the relationships in the sphere of trade, entrepreneurship and business, attracting investments and the importance of developing the private sector in the country.
It was emphasized the expediency of training and retraining of qualified personnel in favor of the financial system of the country and the implementation of forthcoming joint programs in this direction.
Following the meeting Finance Minister stated that Tajikistan is interested in further strengthening of cooperation with the People’s Republic of China, and expressed confidence in the most favorable prospects for cooperation between Tajikistan and China.
