The Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon held a meeting of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Palace of the Nation.

The discussion focused on the implementation of decisions taken following the meeting with the representatives of the public on the eve of holy month of Ramadan, preparations for the celebration of the nationwide holiday — the 30th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The impact of climate change on Tajikistan’s economy and its consequences, strengthening national security in the constantly changing world, the rule of law, measures to combat crimes and all forms of violations, the strengthening of public works, improving population healthcare, correct diagnosis and treatment, repair and reconstruction of healthcare facilities, in particular healthcare center and first-aid posts, extending a helping hand to the needy, living standards of the population were among the main subjects of the meeting of the Leader of the Nation with representatives of the public.

Taking into account the importance of the issues discussed at the meeting, the Head of State set the task for the members of the Government, local government officials to develop an action plan following the meeting and implementing the mentioned instructions in practice.

The Leader of the Nation instructed government members to actively promote and fulfill residents’ requests.

We will recall that the patriotic entrepreneurs express their readiness to take an active part in improvement works by renovation and reconstruction of roads, schools, healthcare centers, first-aid posts and other necessary facilities.

Other tasks were given to responsible persons, central and local government authorities on addressing social issues, developing patriotism and self-esteem skills among adolescents and young adults, the construction of modern educational institutions, libraries, parks, squares and attractions, manufacturing enterprises, including sewing shops, access to safe drinking-water, reconstruction of municipal road, compliance with the provisions of law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On parental responsibility for education and upbringing of children” and “On the regulation of traditions, celebrations and ceremonies in the Republic of Tajikistan».

The head of state gave concrete order to members of the Government, local government officials to increase public awareness skills and implement specific measures to ensure the rule of law, crime prevention, return to their homeland those who illegally study in religious institutions of foreign countries, ensure national security and protect public healthcare.

It should be noted that the meeting of the Head of State Emomali Rahmon with the public representatives took place on the eve of the month of Ramadan, therefore, during the meeting, special attention was paid to issues related to the implementation of charity measures, extending a helping hand to the needy, especially orphans and poor, caring for parents, brothers and sisters.
