DUSHANBE, 24.07.2018. /NIAT «Khovar»/. The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon had a telephone conversation with the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The head of state warmly congratulated the President of the friendly country on his birthday.
During the conversation, Leader of the Nation, expressing his best wishes to his counterpart, noted the successes of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the path of socio-economic development under the leadership of Shavkat Mirziyoyev, his consistent efforts in the field of improving and developing friendly relations and fruitful cooperation between the countries of the region.
The parties also discussed issues of Tajik-Uzbek good-neighborly relations and prospects for development of cooperation between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan in all formats.
In this context, the Presidents expressed their support for further joint efforts to promote the partnership relations between the two countries in the mainstream of the fundamental interests of the fraternal peoples.
