Advisor to the Prime Minister of Pakistan writes a book about Tajikistan
DUSHANBE, 29.08.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. Ghulam Akbar, Editor in Chief of Daily Herald Tribune of Pakistan, who is also an Advisor to the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan, will write a book about Tajikistan and introduce our country to 220 million audience of Pakistan.
Ghulam Akbar, as a Member of Advisory Board of Center for Global and Strategic Studies of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, arrived in Tajikistan as part of the delegation of this Center.
At the meeting of Pakistani delegation with Saidali Siddiq, Director of the National Information Agencyof Tajikistan “Khovar”, on August 27 in Dushanbe, Ghulam Akbar noted that since April this year he started writing a book about the achievements of independent Tajikistan, friendly relations and effective cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
Ghulam Akbar’s book will be published in Tajik, Urdu, Russian and English, and it is expected to be presented both in Dushanbe and Islamabad.
It should be noted that the Pakistani delegation led by Syed Khalid Amir Jaffery, President of the Center for Global and Strategic Studies of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, arrived in Tajikistan and held meetings with the heads of several government agencies, including the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Economic Development and Trade, Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, Center for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the National Information Agency of Tajikistan “Khovar”, discussed the issues of expanding cooperation between the two countries.
