First International Economic Forum “Sughd-2018” will be held in Khujand
DUSHANBE, 02.10.2018 /NIAT “Khovar”/. The international economic forum “Sughd-2018” will be held on October 11 in Khujand. The tenth anniversary of the creation of free economic zones in Tajikistan was the reason for its holding, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan reports.
The forum will be organized by the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan and the administration of the FEZ “Sughd” together with development partners.
According to the source, the holding of the forum, along with the establishment of business relations with foreign partners, is aimed to carry out a multilateral analysis of the work done and to consider the future prospects for the development of free economic zones in Tajikistan. In addition, in the context of the considering problems, it will become important the issues of studying the best practices of neighboring countries in this direction.
The forum will be attended by representatives of the FEZ of the countries of near and far abroad, the subjects of the FEZ, representatives of ministries, departments and academia, international and public organizations, commercial banks, local and foreign entrepreneurs, media representatives. It is planned that the forum will bring together about 200 delegates.
