DUSHANBE, 29.11.2018. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The Tourism Association of the Zarafshan Valley, in cooperation with the Committee for Tourism Development under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, in honor of the Year of Tourism and Folk Crafts Development, will hold an exhibition and sale of handicraft products and tourist souvenirs at the Hilton Hotel in Dushanbe on November 29-30.

According to the Committee for Tourism Development, the exhibition will take place on the first day from 18:00 to 20:30, where the organizers will exhibit their collections.

On the second day, the exhibition will continue from 9:00 to 19:00, where reports, training sectors and the sale of handicraft products will be organized.

It should be noted that folk crafts developed among our people since ancient times and became widespread. It is gratifying that the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan has created all the necessary conditions for the development of handicraft production.

Holding contests and festivals, as well as exhibitions of the best examples of folk art, gives artisans the opportunity to present their skills and talents in a worthy manner.
