Tajikistan and ADB signed a grant agreement to reconnect country to the Central Asian energy system
DUSHANBE, 27.11.2018. /NIAT “Khovar”/. The grant agreement between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Asian Development Bank on the project to reconnect the Republic of Tajikistan to the Central Asian energy system in the amount of $ 35 million was signed in Dushanbe, the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan reports.
“The grant agreement on the part of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan was signed by the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Nematullo Hikmatullozoda, and on the part of the Asian Development Bank, the ADB Country Director for Tajikistan Pradeep Srivastava”, — the source noted.
The agreement will contribute to the development of Tajikistan’s energy sector.
